Sisley’s November launch in Japan: four candles, a limited perfume bottle and a gift calendar explained

A guide to Sisley Japan’s November 1 candles, limited Eau du Soir bottle and gift calendar: prices, distribution and what is not confirmed for Taiwan.

Sisley’s November launch in Japan: four candles, a limited perfume bottle and a gift calendar explained

Sisley Japan introduces fragrance and festive products on November 1, 2026. Before choosing a gift, separate three different offers: the four candles form a regular collection, Eau du Soir comes in a limited bottle, and the advent calendar is a non-sale gift linked to a spending threshold. Treating every item as a Christmas limited edition would miss those differences.

This guide uses Sisley Japan’s October 29 announcement. Prices are Japanese tax-inclusive yen prices, not Taiwan prices or confirmation of local availability. Fragrance descriptions are the brand’s, not the result of an editorial burn test or fragrance trial.

1. A regular four-candle collection adds smoky wood and bitter orange

Perfumed Candle N comes in four 220g versions at ¥18,150 each in Japan. The new Smoky Wood and Bitter Orange evokes burning logs with a bitter-orange accent. Campagne, Rose and Tuberose complete the range. The announcement describes regular availability for the collection, rather than a Christmas-only run for all four scents.

Sisley connects Campagne with fresh nature, Rose with a rose garden, and Tuberose with balsam and vanilla. Use those descriptions to decide what to smell in person. They do not establish fragrance strength, room coverage or burning time. For a present, the recipient’s preference for wood, greenery or flowers is a more useful starting point than the glass colour alone.

2. Check the counter, not just the launch date

The candles are announced for the Japanese official online shop and 14 Sisley counters. The limited Eau du Soir bottle has a narrower distribution: the online shop and six counters. A shared November 1 launch does not mean the two products will be available in every department store, or at the same counter.

Before travelling, ask the intended shop about the exact product, availability and reservation options. This article has not verified live stock. A product listing is not a guarantee that an order can be fulfilled. If using a buying service, check shipping, total charges and return conditions separately; the Japanese shelf price is not the delivered cost in Taiwan.

3. Eau du Soir combines a collectible bottle with an established fragrance

The 2026 Eau du Soir Limited Edition is 100mL and costs ¥44,000 in Japan. Its decoration draws on syringa flowers in gardens in Seville, with gold details. Artist Marie-Victoire de Bascher created the imagery for the festive perfume and calendar. The brand describes the perfume as a floral chypre.

Separate liking the bottle from liking the fragrance. The packaging may interest a design collector, while someone choosing an everyday perfume should still try the scent. A limited bottle does not by itself establish greater concentration or longer wear, and the material reviewed provides no comparison test supporting either claim.

4. The advent calendar is a gift, not a ¥220,000 product

Japan’s announcement labels the advent calendar a non-sale item. From November 1, it is offered in limited quantities with Sisley purchases of at least ¥220,000 including tax. That figure is a spending condition, not a stand-alone calendar price. The image shows a drawer-format calendar; the announcement mentions miniature products and original goods without a complete drawer-by-drawer list.

Do not assign a product to every drawer from the photograph or infer a financial “value” from the threshold. If the purchase was not already planned, make a list of needed items before considering the gift. Confirm qualifying-store conditions and remaining gifts directly before buying.

Japan’s advent calendar is a non-sale gift with qualifying purchases, not a separately priced item.

5. The eye-care kit is a separate offer

A limited Eye Care Kit also launches in Japan that day, from ¥23,650 including tax. The announcement describes one full-size eye product selected from five eligible products, together with three skincare miniatures and a silver-tweed pouch. The chosen full-size item determines the price.

It is not an automatic extra with a candle or perfume. When comparing gift budgets, decide whether fragrance, an eye-care product or collectible packaging is the priority, then compare the relevant contents. This is a guide to the offers, not a skincare-efficacy comparison or a diagnosis.

6. A useful order of decisions for readers in Taiwan

Choose the purpose, confirm the market, then check stock. For home fragrance, explore the four candle scents. For an artistic bottle, consider the limited Eau du Soir presentation. Only then, if there is already a substantial shopping list, check the calendar’s qualifying conditions. There is no need to purchase all three offers together.

Do not apply the Japanese announcement to Taiwan. Current Taiwan prices, launch dates and stock were not independently verified for this report. Confirm the four-scent range, the limited bottle and any calendar offer separately with official Taiwan sellers.

Frequently asked questions

Are all four candles limited editions?

The announcement calls them a regular Perfumed Candle N collection. Limited distribution still applies, and regular availability does not guarantee stock at every shop.

Is November 1 the Taiwan release date?

No. The date and yen prices here come from Japan’s announcement. Taiwan items need separate confirmation.

Can the calendar be bought alone for ¥220,000?

The announcement presents it as a non-sale gift with qualifying purchases, not an item with that retail price. Check eligibility and remaining quantities with the Japanese seller.

Do the candles and perfume use the same counters?

Do not assume so: the announcement specifies 14 counters for candles and six for the perfume, plus Japan’s official online shop for each.

Has this article tested the scents or burn time?

No. Scent imagery comes from the brand; no claims about projection, longevity or burn hours have been added.
