SHUSHU/TONG at Isetan until November 3: flowers, bows and an early Christmas collection

SHUSHU/TONG’s first Japanese pop-up is now running at Isetan Shinjuku, from October 23 to November 3, 2026. The Shanghai label presents its autumn/winter 2026 The Invented Self collection alongside advance sales of its AW26 Christmas limited collection, offering a temporary stop for a Tokyo shopping itinerary.

This is a pop-up with an end date, not a permanent Japanese store. The seasonal collection and Christmas-limited advance selection are distinct descriptions. Flowers, ruffles and bows in the pictures are useful for looking at design placement, but do not establish that every item is limited or every size will remain available.

Pop-up details

  • October 23–November 3 at Center Park/The Stage #3, third floor of Isetan Shinjuku’s main building.
  • The Invented Self draws on the film Violette Nozière, combining references to 1930s silhouettes with contemporary deconstructed details.
  • The department store confirms advance sales of the AW26 Christmas limited collection. Check individual items, prices, sizes and stock.

Look at floral placement before the dark accessories

The pictures pair a pale floral dress with a pronounced black bow and black bag, contrasting soft print with dark lines. Another dark dress scatters flowers across its surface and adds a substantial-looking collar texture. Flowers need not be tied only to light fabrics or a single idea of sweetness.

To use that contrast in everyday dressing, first choose whether attention should settle on the neckline, waist or accessories rather than emphasising everything. Pictures can show decoration proportions, but not stretch, weight or comfort. Those need fabric labels and an actual fitting.

Pink ruffles and a white mini dress use different densities

The pink look concentrates ruffles around the shoulders and neckline, with a bow at the waist. The white mini dress uses straps, the neckline edge and small black bows to create clear boundaries. They offer different arrangements of decoration and space, not a single body-type formula everyone must follow.

Compare neckline height, arm movement and what remains visible under a jacket. The film and 1930s references are creative background, not proof that each garment directly reproduces a historical outfit. A complete campaign look is also not a product list promising all pictured jewellery with the clothing.

Before heading upstairs, choose the dates and collection

The venue is Center Park/The Stage #3, third floor of Isetan Shinjuku’s main building at 3-14-1 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo. It runs until November 3, rather than operating as a year-round shop. Check the department store’s current hours and floor arrangements.

If the Christmas pieces are your aim, ask specifically for AW26 Christmas and confirm item names and sizes. Do not treat every autumn/winter piece as Christmas-limited. Advance sales describe this event’s release arrangement; they do not establish Taiwan dates, worldwide quantities or restocking. Nor should an unconfirmed price be converted into an assumed Taiwan retail price.

Questions answered

When does the pop-up end?

November 3, 2026, at Center Park/The Stage #3 on the main building’s third floor.

Is this a permanent Japanese store?

No. The department store lists a first Japanese pop-up running October 23–November 3, not a year-round shop.

Does a bow mean a Christmas-limited item?

No design detail alone establishes that. The event presents seasonal pieces and a Christmas advance selection; check individual names, sizes and availability.
