Comfort with a little polish: SNIDEL × Mizuno brings dotted down, trainers and a ruched bag into daily dressing
The first collaboration spans four pieces, from MXR trainers to a hoodie dress, at ¥13,200–¥59,400. Aoyama previews October 30, online sales start November 3 at noon and Japanese stores follow November 5; Mizuno direct stores carry shoes only.
Wanting comfort without looking as though every day begins at the gym is a familiar wardrobe tension. SNIDEL and Mizuno’s first collaboration addresses it through four pieces: MXR trainers, a down jacket, a shirt-panel hoodie dress and a waist bag. Announced October 29, it previews at SNIDEL TOKYO AOYAMA on October 30, ahead of separate online and wider Japanese store dates.
The collaboration goes beyond a sports logo on an outfit. Ivory trainers meet metallic details, white dots or off-white change a down jacket’s visual volume, and ruching softens the bag strap. One piece can work with an existing wardrobe; buying all four is not required to enjoy the idea.
MXR changes its expression with a different lace
The special MXR combines an ivory base and fine mesh with metallic silver and matte gold, under the official silver × beige × greige colour description. Its Japanese tax-inclusive price is ¥16,500, in sizes 23–25.5cm at half-centimetre intervals. Appearance alone cannot establish fit, last shape or suitability for every gait.

White laces and an alternative beige-and-ivory patterned option are included, with collaboration branding on details including laces and insoles. Changing laces offers a styling variation without restricting the shoe to skirts. Fit and daily walking needs should guide selection; these lifestyle trainers should not be presented as specialist racing footwear.
Polka-dot down and a shirt-panel dress: shape and warmth are separate questions
The down jacket comes in black with white dots or off-white, at ¥59,400 including Japanese tax, in sizes 0 and 1. Mizuno describes its Breath Thermo material as generating warmth by absorbing body moisture. That is a brand material description, not our test of temperature performance, waterproofing or extreme-cold suitability.

The hoodie dress combines casual styling with shirt fabric, using structured double-knit material and a brushed interior. Brown and navy options cost ¥19,800 including tax, in sizes 0 and 1. Consider the garment’s own silhouette; every skirt layer visible in a styled image should not be assumed to come with the same product.
A ¥13,200 ruched bag, and three distinct retail stages
The black waist bag costs ¥13,200 including Japanese tax, with an adjustable ruched shoulder strap, velvet ribbon at the zip and both names on the front. Complete internal dimensions were not verified for this article, so compatibility with a particular phone, wallet or bottle is not guaranteed.
After Aoyama’s October 30 preview, online sales start November 3 at 12:00 through both brands’ sites, USAGI ONLINE and MASH STORE, followed by designated Japanese stores November 5. Times are Japanese. Mizuno direct stores carry footwear only; check SNIDEL channels for the other pieces. These dates do not confirm simultaneous Taiwan availability.
